Make your holidays magical with artisanal food and handcrafted soaps, tintures and teas at the next BAHM! Swing by the Gourmet Ghetto and find the hidden gastronimcal gems of the Bay in the Firehouse Art Collective Gallery. With decadent cookies, made-from-scratch vinegars, unique tea blends, made-at-the-peak-of-ripeness jams and lively healthy treats, you’ll find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, that special holiday dessert and more.
The Bay Area Homemade Market is a place for the community to discover amazing, local Cottage Food businesses making artisan food out of their homes! With the passing of the Homemade Food Act in 2012, home bakers, chefs and food creators can now legally sell their delicious treats to the public. The Homemade Market allows them to connect to the community and allows you to sample and buy these unique, local, small-batch foods. BAHM supports local food artisans who have only been able to start home businesses to sell their delicious wares with the passing of the Homemade Food Act! The Homemade Food Act is a huge step for strengthening the local food system and the Bay Area Homemade Market lets you take part in it!
The Bay Area Homemade Market happens about once a month and is your chance to support these super local, start-up food artisans. It lets you support community members while discover organic olive oil crackers, salted caramel cupcake, raw health bars and more! You can stay updated by signing up for our free mailing list here! If you are interested in being a vendor, please fill out this application. We are also always looking for volunteers to help make the Market a smashing success! Apply to volunteer here!
